2-story Marine Regiment Command Post buildings which required structural upgrades to comply with the latest seismic codes for which Fiber Reinforced Polymers were used extensively. Interior improvements included extensive demolition and hazardous material abatement, new offices, conference rooms, training rooms, lobby/reception area, restrooms, storage facilities and security vaults, new plumbing, HVAC, electrical, data and communication systems. The exterior work for both buildings consisted of new windows and entry way, repairing and patching of the exterior of the buildings, painting, and the conversion of the existing flat roof to a new, insulated, sloped roof, consisting of a standing seam metal roof on a system of light gauge steel trusses and metal decking. The site work for both buildings included exterior ADA upgrades, regrading around the buildings to improve site drainage, landscaping, raised planter areas and new sewer lines, transformers and power and communication duct banks to the buildings.
